Every student learns differently and providing them with the resources needed to reach their fullest potential is what I strive for. After completing the Orton-Gillingham training this summer, I am excited to create a classroom where my students can learn to read and write while engaged in a multitude of sensory materials and resources. I am excited to use the materials in small group settings and whole group instruction. I love to see students work to gain both independence and confidence. Students will have the choice of how they are engaged in learning...be it in tactile, hands-on blocks or using their vision to play a word game.
