As a small rural district, technology can be difficult to come by. Currently, my students must share 16 computers with 3-5th grade classes. As technology plays a bigger role in learning, students need to understand how to access and correctly use the resources on the internet to develop their understanding. New curriculum demands use of technology, and there are great resources available for students to meet their various needs and help them reach new levels of learning. New computers would help the students meet the requirements of our new math curriculum, while also giving them the ability to access information for various projects in science and social studies.
