My students will use these headphones to utilize online reading programs. As first graders they are still learning to read and one way to help them become better readers and more fluent leaders is to listen to books. Several programs are used in the classroom to enhance reading fluency and reading skills. These headphones will allow for students to be able to hear what they are seeing on the screen and focus better. With these headphones there will be less distraction as well. These headphones can also be used for other programs including math, word and language study, and science and social studies. Each student having their own set of headphones will allow for students to be able to listen to what is going on on their computer.
