Have you ever tried to recall the perfect word for a report, a short story, or a proposal? It's frustrating, isn't it? Howdy! I teach all of the High School English, Middle School Language Arts, and Reading classes at a Secondary Alternative Center in Texas, the last educational opportunity before Juvenile Hall. Most of the students that I work with have histories of behavioral issues and are at high risk of not graduating.
