For this project, I am seeking materials that will allow our students to feel more independent and comfortable in the classroom. Tactile and sensory tools, such as games, toys, water beads, and headphones, will motivate the students while addressing their sensory and social needs. Academic materials, such as flashcards and manipulatives, will provide the students with more opportunity for hands-on learning. Flexible seating options offer comfortable alternatives for students when they are completing academics or taking space independently. Increasing organization within the classroom will encourage independence. These tools will help our very motivated students grow and achieve throughout the coming year. The students and I greatly appreciate your help!
