I work as a STEM Instructional Coach and support all students and teachers within Hawkins County. Our teachers are excited to implement STEM education into their classrooms and we are working diligently to provide the materials necessary for our teachers and students to succeed. Our schools are located in a mostly rural school district and the exposure to future STEM fields needs to be increased in elementary schools, especially in the realm of coding. This opportunity will not only increase student’s proficiency in technology but it will also foster socioemotional, communication, and problem solving skills. The donations for this project will not only engage students, but also provide experiences necessary to explore growing career fields. Our students and teachers are curious, enthusiastic, and excited about STEM Education. The robots from this donation would be shared to all elementary schools within our district, maximizing the opportunities for learning and truly providing STEM for all. Please help us provide this opportunity.
