Coding with technology can help students to problem-solve, think creatively, and open doors for future careers. I was introduced to Dot and Dash robots in a workshop and was able to purchase 5 last summer. Unfortunately, I do not have the right technology to program the robots. I plan to use 5 Fire HD-10 Kids tablets to help our students get excited about coding/programming. Students will either work individually or work in pairs to accomplish the tasks on the activity cards. Reading the task cards will also reinforce reading, comprehension, math skills, and collaboration. Thank you for funding this project and adding excitement and engagement to our students' learning through technology.
