The following proposal is for two iPads to be utilized by the entire school within the new Makerspace. These iPads will enable students in grades K-3 to make, produce, create, problem solve, collaborate, and critically think. With these iPads, students will be able practice and use coding with robots known as Dot and Dash. The iPads will also enable students to use OSMO attachments, further enabling them to code and also allowing them to interactively illustrate and work on reading and math skills. The inclusion of these iPads within the Makerspace will meet the needs of all our students by challenging creative minds and creating a hands on of means of learning for others.
