My students are quite diverse in their backgrounds. Being a rural school district we pull from all areas in the agriculture rich location in which our school is located. This in turn leads to varying experiences and skill levels of the students. My school setting is one that has one high school campus. The number of students on average in my classes is 25 ranging from 9-12th grade and ages 14-18. Based on past experiences my students learn better when they are able to apply the concepts learned in the classroom to an actual real world setting. This type of practice in this new course will allow me to individualize instruction for cognitive, ability, and behavioral levels where needed and provide the best learning environment for my students.
