Who wants to sit in a desk all day?? So many students are being too quickly and too often overly diagnosed with ADHD - because they need to move! I teach 21-25 third graders (8-9 year olds) i a Title 1 school. Studies have shown the benefits of having a flexible seating classroom - students are more engaged because they are able to choose where they will work best, and it allows their little bodies to move around while still being engaged, on task, and learning. Not only are they focused on instruction, but they are also improving the health and wellness of their body! Any and all donations are so much appreciated by myself-and my future students!
