My students will use these books to read daily in our reading center. Within the centers, my students will read these books individually or with a classmate. The books will also be used to supplement STEM projects that we do throughout the year. In our state standards, we study non-fiction science topics and need more books on the students' grade level to supplement the material we have in our classroom. When writing on science topics, these books will be vital source material for my students. The illustrations and vocabulary words in these books will also help them when they are learning to write sentences. By giving the gift of books, you are not only enriching my students' minds with science but also giving them a more well-rounded education.
