Reading is key to language development! Unfortunately, I am unable to reach every child daily; this would extend their experience. I would like the ability to individually give language, phonics, literacy components along with further fostering social/emotional skills such as sharing, turn-taking, and conflict resolution. I intend to utilize the listening center within our daily five routine. This allows me the best use of our resources. I have also chosen a variety of text that touches the various needs and themes common within our curriculum. I also hope to further extend letter recognition, number order and scientific resonance though resources already received.

About my class
