For the past four years of my teaching, each class has been provided a choice of flexible seating. They have the options between pillows, bean bags, and soft chairs; however, due to COVID and new regulations, this is now not an option due to safety concerns. Myself, as well as other teachers, are now restricted in using any fabric seating due to the virus. As a result, the students will now have to spend their day at their desk. My students and I would be blessed to have the opportunity to be provided additional options for seating that will be safe and easy to disinfect between uses. This will allow students to increase their focus, relief stress, and release energy in an appropriate way.
