Please help me obtain more iPads for my first grade classroom. With 19 students and only 4 iPads we are very limited in what we can do with these phenomenal learning tools! Our iPads have helped to motivate and engage student learning in all academic areas. There are so many fun, engaging apps that my students use to practice their reading, writing and math skills. We love going on virtual field trips through the iPads. Many of my students don't get opportunities to leave Montana. The virtual field trips have helped to teach them about the world outside of their town. I would love to have more iPads to increase learning opportunities through technology. It's a bit challenging to use them to their full capacity when the ratio of students to device is about 5:1. In addition to the iPads, I would like to purchase screen protectors, headphones and splitters to be used with the devices. Thank you in advance for helping me with this project! Technology is an exciting learning tool, but so expensive and hard to fund with my school's budget.
