I was inspired by the Steelcase Education Grant that focused on remodeling your classroom into a learning center. I was intrigued, mostly due to education focusing back on blended learning, so these drawers will be a way to organize each student group's materials, and reduce transition time due to all of the materials being readily available at each group. I want to utilize every possible teaching moment throughout the day, and with a full class, having the materials readily available will help this become possible. The carts will contain the materials needed throughout the day, such as highlighters and scissors, as well as materials needed during blended learning. If the students have the materials available at each group station, it will increase productivity and reduce transition time.
