Students will get a hands-on experience of the brain. Albeit a sheep brain, they will still have the opportunity to see structures similar to a human brain like the brain stem, pituitary gland, lobes, and cerebellum. I wrote a PMEF grant to buy lab equipment and I share this with the Biology department; however, for the past three years, I have purchased the brains with my personal funds. I am hoping for some help this year. Thank you so much for any support you can give: PMHS AP Psychology students really appreciate it. Whether they are entering the health sciences, medical profession, or for mere self-understanding, this is an enriching project!
