Adding Scholastic Science World magazine to our science curriculum will allow me to better be able to teach across the curriculum with our science lessons. It will also off me additional reinforcements for the topics we study in class. Science Word offers amazing articles that cover many science topics including the Engineering and STEM topics that we cover in our class. The Science World articles align great with our science standards and the common core standards. They have amazing writing ideas that go along with the articles and projects, that will help us with teaching across the curriculum. Having the Science World magazine as an additional resource will also help me appeal to all types of learners. Most of our class is project based and group work, but some students prefer this other type of learning and this may appeal more to them.
