By the time fidgety students reach high school, many teachers have given up on this type of student. Because the fidgety student feels hopeless, they often continue to act up. By proving stability balls for my classroom, you will be providing many fidgety students with an opportunity to learn. Research shows that the stability ball keeps the brain engaged and prepared to learn and process new information. The stability ball allows students to get rid of just enough excess energy to help them concentrate. By allowing students to fidget, the student once again feels hopeful and gains a positive attitude about learning.
