One area my students struggle the most with is reading comprehension. It is proven that the best way to improve a student's reading comprehension ability is by providing them with books. The books that I am requesting will give my students more choice in what they read. Students who have a choice in what they read become more interested in reading and as a result will read more often. And as it is proven, a student who reads more often will have better comprehension. Books are the key to students' success. The addition of these books would give my students a much needed boost of practice with their reading comprehension. Students who are confident in their ability to comprehend and analyze text will be ready to face the challenges of higher education and the workplace.
