During the COVID-19 pandemic, many students of mine were unable to attend a preschool setting before enrolling in kindergarten. I am requesting dolls, construction set and store materials so my students can practice math, science, ELA, pretend, and social skills and concepts. The materials I am requesting foster imaginative, creative and social play amongst peers to learn social skills that they were unable to acquire without preschool. The materials I am requesting offer crafting, peer to peer play, enrichment and fine motor skills opportunities for the students. My kindergarten class offers play as a mode of learning and I anticipate these materials to be exceptionally well received and utilized frequently by my students.
