My students are in great need of flexible seating. We are increasingly asking students to sit for longer and longer periods of time. The exercise balls allow the students to move and focus while staying seated. Keeping the body focused with active sitting assists in keeping the mind focused. On exercise balls the students are forced to sit taller and keep their body balanced. Giving the students the non-disruptive active seating will also help with behavior in the classroom as students will not need to get the wiggles out by disrupting lessons and other students. With less behavioral issues, we can increase our learning and time on task. The electric pump will assist me in keeping the ball chairs in working order to maximize safety for the student sitting on it. I'm looking forward to seeing my students happier and ready to learn.
