We just moved into a new building! We are a public charter school that was previously housed in portables. My classroom and lab are combined into a large room with cabinets, sinks, tables, and chairs. We have a beautiful facility, but we do not have any new equipment. Most of our equipment is falling apart or very rusty (chemistry lab-ware). I want to make my classroom a wonderful place of learning and experimentation! Currently, my classroom is a clean, welcoming, spacious room that hosts about 140 students in three different academic areas. Students enjoy coming into the classroom and hanging out when they have time. I also host a Chess Club every other Thursday and NHS as needed. I plan to continually update things in the classroom so that it is always a welcoming and productive area.
