The wiggles can be a major distraction in the classroom! Sitting in hard plastic chairs for 7 hours every day is unrealistic for a child. In my classroom, we do as many moving activities as we can, but sometimes being seated is necessary. The donations to this project will improve our class environment by letting these students wiggle while they work! This project gives students several options of seating such as wiggle seats, stability balls, soft cushions for their chairs, and wobble chairs. Donations toward this project will also give students choices of some materials to keep the rest of their body in motion if they enjoy sitting in their classroom chair. Just a few of these things include fidget cubes, fidget spinners, stationary bike pedals, stress balls, and resistance bands for their chairs. For the majority of these students, they need their body to be moving for their mind to be working. Any donation you can give will help these students tremendously.
