Students will use Legos and building bricks to create a restaurant they have designed. This is a project based learning opportunity that incorporates math, writing, reading, art, and social studies. Students will practice measurement, area and perimeter, counting money, writing a menu, designing an advertisement, and drawing a map and key. This is an interactive project upon which students will be able to work at their own pace. Legos, building bricks, and all other materials will be divided evenly for student use. Upon completion of this project, students will present their blueprints, advertisements, menus, maps, and restaurants to the class.

About my class
