One of our goals every year is get reluctant readers excited about reading. These books will provide students access to some of the best contemporary young-adult books. Our students have multiple opportunities for independent reading throughout the year and they display the knowledge they learn from books in creative ways. Updating and improving our classroom library will help us accomplish our goal creating ravenous readers! Students will have everyday access to a wide variety of novels that will introduce new, exciting plots, characters, and conflicts. These novels will take our middle school students' imaginations to places far beyond the classroom. They will become stronger readers and better thinkers!
