Our goal is for students to become life long readers. As a school wide initiative the entire school creates their own book. Each year we Celebrate Authors and Readers at our school, otherwise known as CARE Day. This entails having a day of fun reading activities and ends with a in school parade. What better way than to have students create their own books. By having our students create their own imaginative stories we are enabling them to become young authors. This is a great way to incorporate the writing process in our school while encouraging our students imagination to soar!
