As a teacher, I am very aware of my responsibility of making sure my students are safe. Taking a class on a trip can be very rewarding but also very challenging. My students will stand out in a crowded area and will be easily recognized if they are wearing matching t-shirts on a field trip. Since I teach Kindergarten this makes a huge difference. the students will be going on a field trip to the Northeast Live Expo, and the t-shirts will be worn on this trip. Hundreds of children will attend this event, wearing matching t shirts will reassure our students' safety. I will recycle the t-shirts year after year by personally taking them home and washing them after each use and returning them to the classroom for the next adventure. These t-shirts could get several years of wear by not sending them home with the students and by keeping them in the classroom for years to come.
