I teach 6th grade at Charles Blackstock Jr High. I have the great fortune of working with some real dedicated students whom, out of respect and a truly deep desire to learn, always give me their best effort in class. This year, 100% of my students come from lower income homes, some which can be considered poverty, yet their deaire to learn and get ahead is huge. This is why I've come to this site for help. I want to advance my kids as much as I can in the year that they're with me. I want their life experience to grow outside their small neighborhoods. With your help, I'm confident we can expose my kids to more learning, more meaningful experiences, and deepen their understanding of the world around them.

About my class
