P.I.N.K Positive Influence Nurtures Knowledge is a mentoring group at our school. As the school counselor and mentor I work with about 30 girls who are charged with serving their school, family and community. The girls are from many backgrounds and experiences. This mentorship alllows them to have positive experience to share with their peers and community. Our Project This year we are planning a Earth Day celebration. We would like to create the Pink Serenitygarden . Think garden will hilight the hibiscus flower . The garden is a safe place for students, families to find serenity and comfort. We also have many students who share the loss of a loved one and the pain is unbearable at times. A butterfly is an awesome symbol of life and transition. That's one of the reason we want a garden and two benches. We are also now developing are social emotional needs through literature .
