In a world that becomes more tech savvy every day, students need to have access to computers in the classroom. I currently teach AP Biology and truly believe that project-based learning is a wonderful way for students to learn. Having students participate in project-based learning prepares students for academic, personal, and career success, and provides the students with the opportunity to rise to the challenges of their lives and the world they will inherit. In order to face this challenge, they need technology to help them navigate. Technology is everywhere; why not in the classroom? Having the means to provide students with the ability to collect data, research phenomena, and interact with the content is crucial in the learning process. Having computers in the classroom, allows the students to have another level of learning, another tool in their toolbox, and the ability to enhance their learning.
