The items requested will help to create a space for our students to reflect, relax, and calm down. The room will help teach students how to successful solve issues in a productive and respectful manner, while avoiding unnecessary drama and conflict. The new space and supplies will be a place where students, teachers, and staff can discuss issues and work on resolutions. We have made great gains in our school wide restorative practice work, and these supplies will help us to build a space where we can continue to support and work on achieving school wide goals. A comfortable room will help students feel safe, inspired, and ready to take on the challenges of the world.
