My classroom is full of diverse readers. Some students who are still learning the basics, and others that are strong, confident readers who need to be challenged. I want all readers in my classroom to continue to grow and reach their greatest potential, and this isn't possible with the books I have been provided. I have been provided a set of grade level appropriate books from my school district, but they are not challenging my strongest readers. This year I have been working on expanding the sets of short and long chapter books in my classroom. I have been using all of my Scholastic points and my own money to collect sets of books for my students reading above and well above grade level. I have bought as much as I can, but I cannot keep up with their needs as readers. I am asking for your help to donate sets of books that will complete my collection and allow me to reach the needs of all of my students.
