My classes include high school age students diagnosed primarily with learning disabilities. They are curious, inquisitive, adolescents who appreciate modern technology. My classes are in an urban high school on the western side of San Francisco. The students work hard in class mastering science concepts by reading, researching, and doing investigations. They need the wow factor that only a bright clear image of, let's say, a 3D image of the DNA molecule, or a recent picture from Mars, can bring.
