These math manipulatives, teaching cart, and storage items will simplify daily use during guided math and exploration time. Kindergarten students need organization and to help teach and facilitate that, it is necessary to have to right materials. Their learning involves hands-on activities, therefore we need a classroom full of different types of manipulatives. These manipulatives will give the students more opportunities to expand beyond the paper-pencil learning in most classrooms. We literally sit on the floor and use the materials during math, free time, and exploration times. Using tangible items gives the students real-life, concrete experiences that aren't always available to them outside the classroom.
