The students of Redlands Middle School are learning to appreciate opportunities which challenge them and create growth. Savvy in our tech-based, automated world, they are still children at heart and respond readily to activity-based learning which engages all of their senses. Activities and projects which are personally relevant or provide an opportunity for service tend to motivate them the most. Our student population represents a growing diversity within our community which allows many perspectives to be incorporated into the learning process. While always in the process of developing all Habits of the Mind, the habit of responding with wonderment and awe is a key trait which drives our students to new levels of discovery. Questioning and posing problems, and remaining open to continuous learning also typify our learners. It is a privilege to participate in their learning adventure.
