In our current society, students seem to be more and more distracted by the world around them. They have grown up in a society where technology and screens have become a way of life, and educators must look at different ways to inspire learning and enthusiasm. These breakout boxes will be a new, exciting element in our classroom, providing teamwork, problem solving, and excitement in learning. Clues and puzzles will be provided to each group. The students must successfully solve each step in order to be able to unlock the locks. I know that my students, many of whom have a competitive nature, will love the challenge of "winning," and I will love the enthusiasm from learning.
