I am always looking for ways to add technology and more excitement into the music room. The iPad will be a great addition for my students' learning. It will be useful for research and can be used with a variety of apps. These include but are not limited to apps such as Staff Wars, Rhythm Cat, GarageBand, Explorium Sound Uncovered and Loopy HD. These apps will reinforce and enhance my teaching of basic music concepts, as well as technology literacy. The iPad will also allow my students to record their performances and critique and write about their own work. This technology being added to the music room will build excitement, increase motivation, and enhance creativity. It will build our technology and literacy skills and it will also help create musicians for the 21st century.
