My students are young, active learners who are eager to learn. During lessons in the resource room, they sit in big desks that they find too exciting! When our carpet arrives to our resource room, students will be able to receive direct specialized instruction in a safe spot before returning to their seats to complete academic tasks. Students will be able to focus on explicit reading and mathematics instruction that involves a multi-sensory approach. The carpet will promote them to easily get up and down depending on the parts of a lesson. In addition, the carpet will enhance their ability to practice proximity of themselves in accordance to their classmates. The carpet will help them improve this skill that they need practice in during their primary school years.
