My school is a moderate poverty K-5 elementary school. My students come from varied socioeconomic backgrounds. Because of this, some children have had preschool experience and for some, this is their first school experience. I have a wide range of academic abilities in my classroom. I have children reading far above grade level and some that haven't quite mastered the alphabet and the sounds letters make. The iPods give the children a chance to practice these skills in a way they love.

About my class
