There are approximately 600 creative children that attend the school that I teach at in Georgia. They are eager to try new things and have an exuberant desire to learn. Several of our state standards involve clay techniques; yet we do not have funding to purchase art supplies for this area of the visual arts curriculum. Through working with clay, students will be engaged in a multi-sensory endeavor, as they are involved both physically and mentally in the creative process.

About my class
