Our district recently decided to reconfigure all of our elementary schools. Our school will now be the intermediate school housing 5th and 6th grade students. In the past our 6th graders went to middle school; because of this, we want to offer our students some of the opportunities they would have had in middle school. To make this transition easier for our students we want to try to provide them with some of the ideas that they have suggested. This is crucial to keep up the excitement for our school and allow the students to feel part of the planning for our new school. As the culture and climate specialist, it is my job to help get our students engaged in their learning.

About my class
