My students use computers to practice reading and math skills. Their ear buds from home either break easily or students don't bring them in because their parents can't purchase them. When working on the computer, the students often are making the volume very loud and it interrupts other students when they are working on their assignment. Headphones will allow the students to focus on their test/assignment which will increase student achievement. Computers are used more and more in the classroom. The kids are often trying to work and they hear other students computers. It's a huge distraction to the students.
