While my fourth grade classroom is made up of many gifted students, I have a very diverse group of learners. I have a range of varying abilities and have a large number of English Language Learners as well as more than 50% economically needy students and families. I like to provide hands on experiences and learning opportunities as well as many cooperative learning activities as well. While a balance of some traditional learning is necessary, I like to lean more on the side of real life, hands on experiences. A more meaningful learning environment results in a high achievement, academically and socially.

About my class
