My students need a comfy spot to sit and listen to stories. Hearing a book read helps children to see how the words on the page can come alive in a fluid, expressive way. It helps them focus on the sounds of words read without interruption and provides a model of fluent reading. By donating to this project you will be providing beginner readers an opportunity to sit in a comfy spot and listen to a book. Students will be able to sit and focus on academic material right in their own hands! This technology and cozy area will increase their literacy and hopefully their desire to love books!!
