Students that are learning English need books that are interesting so they can stay motivated to read more difficult texts. Diverse books can help students to want to learn more! The staff from the EL department has donated books for the classroom, and it's limited by what teachers can find on hand or had in their private libraries. Reading for only 20 minutes a day can increase a student's vocabulary and skills to develop their English language. The more books that are available for them to read, the more that students can spend time acquiring language while engaged in a gratifying activity!
