Our school is a small school in the heart of Stockton, CA, a short distance from the freeway. The mission of our school, and myself whole heartedly is "To cultivate healthy bodies, minds, and spirits based on compassion and love for all humanity." We believe all students, regardless of color, creed or where they live, deserve an environment that is healthy, sustainable and inspiring. Our school serves students from many ethnic backgrounds and cultural traditions. The majority of our students receive free school lunch and come from over-stressed, low income homes. Despite the challenges to their daily lives, our students are on a path to achievement due to the collaborative efforts of teachers, administrators, staff, students, parents, and local community members.
