I feel that in order to create a successful classroom there needs to be a type of structure. I am choosing to use carpet sit spots to create a controlled and structured learning environment during whole group lessons where the carpet will be used. I think this gives students a space of their own and creates personal space for each little learner. Learning is a process and requires all types of learning to meet the needs of every child. An easel has been something that I have used daily in my classroom for charts and modeling to enhance student learning.
