Students naturally are drawn to Legos. When legos and power functions are utilized in my classroom, my students are motivated and eager to learn. The Lego WEDO 2.0 sets will help my students learn science content while applying language, math, technology and engineering skills along the way. Students will master problem solving, collaborating and communicating. Lego WEDO 2.0 will help me ignite enthusiasm and foster a true love of science in each of my students. WEDO 2.0 includes a smart hub, sensors, and building bricks. It also includes a curriculum that leads students to build Lego robots, such as robe-cars or robe-bee, and then leads them to learn the basics of computer programing. Each lesson focuses on a different engineering process such how to program your robot to crank, walk, spin, flex, reel, lift, grab, push, revolve, steer, and tilt.
