To demonstrate their knowledge of how to save a life in an emergent situation, my students will create a YouTube video of themselves physically and verbally going through the steps of CPR and using an AED device. With this CPR and AED Training Kit, my students will have lifelike, hands-on material with which they can practice and ultimately show their understanding of how to save a life in an emergent situation. Having these materials will help to make the project more engaging, significant, and memorable. While I hope that my students are never put in the position to need to use CPR or an AED device, I'm certain that having had this practice, they will be better prepared.
