Park Rapids Alternative Learning Center serves students ages 15-21. Students are working in an independent study setting to earn a high school diploma. Many of our students come to us with unique challenges; many have experienced childhood trauma, and as a result, have not been able to learn in the traditional high school setting. Our classroom work is a blend of creative hands-on projects, academic work and real life learning experiences. Our aim is to prepare our students to live happy, healthy lives as adults and to prepare them to become contributing members of their communities.

About my class
